Student visa (Subclass 500)
After completing the enrolment process and receiving your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), you can apply for a student visa through the Department of Home Affairs. You may use a Registered Migration Agent or apply independently.
Key visa conditions
- Maintain satisfactory attendance and course progress
- Only work if your visa permits it (and within the stipulated hours)
- Maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) while in Australia
- Notify IVBT of your Australian address (and any changes) within 7 days
- Complete your course within the duration specified on your CoE
- Remain with IVBT for the first 6 months unless issued with a letter of release
Your protections
As an international student in Australia, you are protected under the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) framework. IVBT complies with the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code of Practice 2018.

Your home in Ultimo

Course fees for international students
Course fees are detailed on each course page and in your Offer Letter and Student Agreement. We will not collect more than 50% of total course fees before your course begins.
